The Black Forest Heaters are designed to bring you maximum benefit. The built-in energy-saving package, with catalytic burner and thermostatic control makes these heaters particularly economical and environmentally friendly.
Why the catalytic converter?
The platinum coated catalytic burner works with a thermal efficiency of over 99%. It produces CO2 enriched air that is ideal for the greenhouse. With atmospheric burners, combustion is not quite so complete as with catalytic converters, because they draw in the greenhouse air that has bad waste gases added to it, if there is incomplete combustion then toxic carbonmonoxide (CO) is easily produced. This risk is eliminated with the catalytic burner.
Black Forest heaters are not suitable for growing orchids.
The Bio Green Black Forest heater generates lots of gentle warmth. It can be placed close to plants and saves energy due to even heat distribution.
Traditional heating with high loss of heat and insufficient heat distribution.
